Goal Setting: Staying on Track

Staying on Track with Goal Setting will require Discipline, Concentration, Focus and Applied Action.

staying on track Goal Setting: Staying on Track
Have you officially set  your goals?  Are you all geared up to get started on them?  Have you established some concise ways to support your goals?  What will ensure that you actually stay on your desired path?
“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.” –Jim Rohn
“You must take action now that will move you towards your goals. Develop a sense of urgency in your life.” –H. Jackson Brown Jr.
It is easy to get off  the path. It is also easy to get all wrapped in  the stuff in everyday life. We must plan and work to make our goals happen.  It will require exertion in an organized manner to see our goals come to life.  When you do set goals and establish ways to get where you want to go, how do you stay on track?
“When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.” –Confucius
staying on track2 Goal Setting: Staying on Track
Once  you have clear goals that you want to achieve, it is easier to set the necessary steps to achieve them. It sounds easy.  But in all actuality it is not.  The fact is that you will only take control of your goal when you “stop getting distracted doing some of the things” that you are now doing.
Take the time to Examine your life right now? What does it look like? Did you get the necessary steps done today to reach your goal?   What you did today will show up later? How then do you stay on track?
“Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.” –Pablo Picasso

staying on track 1 Goal Setting: Staying on Track

Here are 2 steps which will help you stay on track towards fulfilling your goals:

1. Hire a mentor or coach.
This is one truly effective way to stay on track towards what you desire in life. Your mentor/coach can guide you in the right path. They can tweak your game. There are all types of mentor/coaches for any goal from weight loss to relationships to business. Find the right one for you. If you can’t afford one, be sure to  report to someone that you trust. Have a significant other person serve as a your mentor/coach. This will help ensure that you do what you are supposed to be doing to reach that goal.
Most successful people have coaches. They have a coach that is there to tweak their game. It was said at one time that Oprah Winfrey had 7 coaches. Look how successful she is in her life. Every millionaire I've heard about has had a coach.
2. Associate with people who have goals similar to yours.
By surrounding yourself with like-minded people you can accelerate your steps towards your desired goal or goals. This  will also make you more accountable, as well as, have others to help in the reinforcement on your goal.
Many people tend to get off track on their goals at some point. If you find yourself off the track, ask yourself what I am doing right now? Is it moving me  towards or away from my desired goal?
Many of the greatest accomplishments in history have been done against impossible odds because someone had a dream and set goals allowing them to stay on track to fulfill that dream.

Having A Balanced Lifestyle  Will Require You To Stop Worrying About Those Things You Can’t Change.

balanced lifestyle Having A Balanced Lifestyle – What Does It Take?

If you’re like most people, you’re probably feeling tired and stressed all the time. But it really doesn’t have to be that way.  You can be happy in life even when you’re working.  All it takes, really, is to have a balanced lifestyle.

“I believe that being successful means having a balance of success stories across the many areas of your life. You can’t truly be considered successful in your business life if your home life is in shambles.” –Zig Ziglar

balanced lifestyle2 Having A Balanced Lifestyle – What Does It Take?

While this has a lot to do with controlling your mind and have little to do with time management and other stuff you might associate with “balance”, I truly believe that having a balanced mind is the key to having a balanced lifestyle.

“Just as your car runs more smoothly and requires less energy to go faster and farther when the wheels are in perfect alignment, you perform better when your thoughts, feelings, emotions, goals, and values are in balance.” –Brian Tracy

Some key measures for obtaining a balanced lifestyle are:

balanced lifstyle1 Having A Balanced Lifestyle – What Does It Take?

1. Meditation

Meditating twice a day, once after waking and once before going to sleep helps you to feel centered even if the rest of the world is askew. If you don’t think you don’t have time to meditate, think again. If you learn a mantra from a meditation teacher, you can just repeat your mantra once and then you’re done with your meditation.
The most common mantra is Ohm, however, there are many other monosyllabic Sanskrit words that you can use as your mantra.
2. Being in the moment
After meditation and throughout the day, avoid thinking about things in the past or in the future because that will stop you from appreciating what you have in the present moment. If your mind drifts away and you start to feel upset over something, interrupt the thought right away and replace it with a positive one.
3. Exercise
Exercising 30 minutes a day can go a long way to breathing more oxygen into your brain. Jog around your neighborhood and if you want to, dance alone in your room.
4.  Always having and attitude of Faith because….

Home Business Building - Tips For Success

If you're currently working a full-time job, but you were thinking about starting your own business, one of the easiest ways to get on the right track is to begin building a business at home. Home business building can be a very lucrative venture, especially if you have a few hours every day to devote to your business.

"There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure." --Colin Powell

Although there is somewhat of a learning curve, once you understand what to do, like your job, your ability to generate money will become a repetitive motion. In this article, we will present a couple different ideas on how you can start your own home business today.

"The superior man understands what is right; the inferior man understands what will sell." --Confucius

Home Business Tips For Success:

The first thing you need to consider in regard to home business building is the type of business model that you want to create. If you want to market affiliate programs, essentially selling other people's products, you would have to become adept at creating websites, articles, and web design in order to generate an income from this type of business model.

You might want to consider creating your own product, something that will allow you to earn money from the efforts of others marketing your business. It is also possible to generate an income selling services like web hosting, dating sites, and a host of other online services that are available.

Your Attitude Always Determines Your Altitude

Having a Positive Attitude makes it possible for you to excel to a higher Altitude.

“Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.” –Zig Ziglar
It is important to know that your attitude will always determine your altitude, whether it is in business or in life.  Also realize that it is impossible to change someone else’s attitude for them.    Our attitudes come from making choice decisions.
Your Attitude Determines Your Altitude
“Our life is what our thoughts make it”. –Marcus Aurelius
“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” –Winston Churchill
“Yes, if we think happy thoughts, we will be happy.   If we think miserable thoughts, we will be miserable. If we think fear thoughts, we will be fearful. If we think sickly thoughts we probably will be ill. If we think failure, we will certainly fail. If we wallow in self-pity, everyone will want to shun us and avoid us”. –Dale Carnegie
Reality can be changed dramatically by a single thought.  Our mental attitude, which is the power which we hold in our heads can be set to Positive or Negative.

A Positive Mental Attitude in Leadership:

When it comes to  leadership, it’s more likely  that you are what you think.  It’s important to realize that  outside influences don’t usually determine your happiness or success.  It’s how we react to those influences – good or bad which determine our happiness or success.   We have the ability to change how we react to any outside forces?
Make sure that how you react to any situation is a conscious priority; which means practice daily.
1.  Humor is vital.
When things don’t seem to be going your way, learn to keep everything in perspective and relax. Laugh out loud or just throw up your hands with a smile on your face.
2.  Having positive self-confident feelings will  help you achieve more.
People are drawn to others who have an upbeat outlook, who have a can-do attitude. They will also make others want to be associated with you.  Why?  Because people are drawn to others who have an upbeat outlook and possess a can-do attitude.
Constant complainers will Never collect an easy following.

Why Cultivating The Atmosphere Of Faith Is Vital For Modern Churches

Cultivating The Atmosphere Of Faith Is Vital For Modern Churches because It Is In The Atmosphere of Faith Where Miracles takes Place.

"Without Faith It Is Impossible To Please God." --  Hebrews 11:6

A lot of people who are exposed to modern Christianity for the first time (or who are coming back to the church after a long absence) find the all-embracing attitude of progressive churches a little unsettling. What they have to understand, though, is that the atmosphere of faith is crucial to developing and maintaining a strong relationship with Christ in these very secular times.

What exactly is meant by the term "the atmosphere of faith?" In many churches, promoting this atmosphere involves providing members with much more than just weekly services. Church-sponsored community activities make it easier for Christians to socialize in a positive, Christ-friendly environment. A lot of modern churches also feel that they can perform a useful service by offering (and even promoting) Christian-oriented media, including books, films, and music. This is all part of a concerted effort to strengthen the body of the church and make it easier for members to resist temptation.

To those looking into the world of the church from the outside, these strange and time-intensive activities used to promote the atmosphere of faith can seem bizarre or even creepy. However, there are countless faithful Christians who can testify to their effectiveness. Instead of a Sunday destination that's easily forgotten during the balance of the week, a forward-thinking church can become the hub of its parishioners' lives. This makes parishioners both better Christians and better people, and that makes for a stronger, more vibrant church as a whole.

For pastors and other church workers, cultivating the atmosphere of faith is not always easy. It calls for more effort than simply scheduling and performing Sunday services.  It requires time spent in the Word of God, meditation, Prayer and openness to the Spirit of God, as well as the heart of a Servant. Given the astounding results many churches have achieved by reaching out to their congregations, though, it's a step more and more churches are willing to take.

Dreams Goals And Visions - Defining & Directing Your Personal Growth

Dreams Goals And Visions are extremely important because you can only go as far as you can imagine yourself going.

Your imagination knows no boundaries.

Having clearly defined dreams goals and visions is an essential part of personal growth and development. It has been proven that the most successful individuals are not only those who dare to dream, but those who set clearly defined goals for themselves, and envision themselves where they want to be.

In other words, they have a future perspective.

Retaining the ability to dream big and reach far is not as common as it should be. During childhood being 'realistic' is deeply engrained and children are discouraged from pursuing goals that seem unattainable. This can result in overly pragmatic adults, who find it impossible to think beyond, or even imagine, beyond their present circumstance: they have no dreams goals and visions, they simply exist.

But, breaking out of that mold and gaining a fire for life is possible if you want it! The first step is to say no to negativity! Don't cut yourself down, or laugh when you say 'I want a Ferrari".

Dare to dream, and dare to dream big! Believe that you deserve to be in a better place, be it financially, or in your personal life, and make a list of your dreams goals and visions. Do you want to meet and marry the woman of your dreams, are you sick of living in a one bedroom in a crappy part of town, do you want to get out of your 9-5 and have time for your kids?

Go for it!

Once you have listed your goals, prioritize them, and start working down the list a few at a time. Set deadlines and work out a plan to try and get where you want to be. Believing that anything is possible is the first step to changing your life, and taking charge of your personal growth.

Goals Have Deadlines: Why You Should Hold Yourself To Them

Goals should have deadlines because the difference between those who succeed and those who don't is that those who succeeded started with a goal in place.

Why You Should Hold Yourself To A Goal?

Setting personal goals is essential to making progress and achieving your personal best. Although most people make personal goals, very few ever achieve them. There are many factors that contribute to falling short, but one of the most common issues is that the individual fails to set a deadline for reaching it.

Why should goals have deadlines?

Think of a goal as a race, and like most races it must have a finish line at a definite point. Making a timeline or mental racetrack for your goal will put you in the frame of mind that there isn't 'infinity' in which to accomplish it: it adds the "win or loose factor".

Setting a deadline for your goals is only one step, the next is to make sure you allow yourself  "no excuses". There is nothing easier than excusing your past behavior or lack of progress to yourself. Creating a motivational platform to push yourself is an important step to creating the level of self discipline needed to achieve your goals on time.

Once your goals have deadlines there are a lot of ways you can keep yourself motivated: start a  vision board, website, blog or video diary to follow your progress. This method uses human pride and fear of failure to push you towards the finish line.

Another motivational method is using competition as a motivating factor. Having a partner or counterpart whose goals have deadlines also is a great way to make sure you stay motivated and don't give up.

Setting goals is important to personal growth, but if your goals don't have deadlines, chances are you will never accomplish them. Setting a definite time frame in which to reach your goals will keep you motivated and increase the likelihood that your personal growth will continue.

Inspiring Others To Create Success And Happiness

Inspiring Others To Create Success And Happiness will help you find fulfillment and achievement of Purpose.

Inspiring Others To Create Success And Happiness

Happiness” is essentially a state of going somewhere wholeheartedly.” –W H Sheldon

The Purpose is the gearing up of your own life through the concept of change, encouragement, inspiration and dedication to the building up others and helping to take them to a new level of achievement.  Success leaves clues.

Create Success and Happiness from creating A New Beginning.

“Any time you stop striving to get better, you’re bound to get worse.” —  Pat Riley

There are few things in the world that feel as good as achieving a level of success. While you may already be there, you can benefit a great deal from inspiring others to create success of their own. No matter what background you have or what it is you are good at, you have a lot to offer others who could use a little bit of inspiration to become motivated to take action steps towards creating success of their own.

Inspiring Others To Create Success And Happiness

Think about where you were before you became successful. The chances are very good that you were inspired by someone in your life that made you want to go out and achieve all of your goals. By them inspiring others to create success, you were able to look towards your dreams and work at all of your goals until you too became successful in some way. Without that added push, you may have never gone out to chase after your dreams.

If you are hoping to start inspiring others to create success, you should know that you can take a little bit of effort and make it go a long way. Whether it is giving a young person a few hours of your time to guide them into a new business venture or you talk with someone on a social media site about going back to school to get their degree, you can inspire with little effort. It is all a matter of the way that you talk with others to let them know that they can be everything or anything that they desire to be as long as they fully believe in themselves.

“Getting off the tiger of change is not feasible.  Tiger -riding lessons are necessary…”–John D Adams, Ph.D.

Success requires preparation.

Inspiring Others To Create Success And Happiness

In inspiring others to create success it’s imperative that you let them know that they must march towards their vision by acquiring balance in their physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual lives.  They also have to learn how to deal with the ups and downs, learn patience, forgiveness, as well as, have a sense of humor.

Let them know that they will have to realize that both pain and pleasure can provide positive stress.  Allow the pain of being in a rut to push through to positive change.  They will succeed because they won’t want to actually experience the pain which comes from failure.

“The key to success is reaching out, extending yourself, striking, and then, if you fail, bouncing back and doing it again — being so resourceful that finally when the moment comes again you won’t hesitate.” –Bill Walsh

Of course, there is a lot to be said about inspiring others to create success, this meaning you too will find more inspiration for yourself along the way. It is through the actions of others that we can make ourselves better people. If you can share some inspiration with others which will help them create success and happiness, you will  have it come back to you in abundance and overflow.

Happiness: A state of mind!

Happiness is a state of mind.  It is an attitude chosen by your inner being, or a state of well being.

Happiness - A State of Mind

“Happiness doesn’t depend on any external conditions, it is governed by our mental attitude.”–Dale Carnegie

Happiness comes from within. It is the inner contentment which survives the roller coaster ride of life which has its roots deep within our being. The source of happiness comes from finding and embracing who we are as a person, and living a life of purpose.

It is important that we find Happiness and Peace in every aspect of our life:

a.  Physical
b.  Mental
c.  Emotional
d.  Spiritual

In order to receive a sense of completion in life,  it’s important that we discover acceptance, purpose as well as peace in all of these areas. If we neglect any one of these areas, we will experience a sense of emptiness and feel that something is missing.

There are many people who feel that happiness is indeed an elusive butterfly in the garden of life.  If you can imagine a young child outside playing in the garden on a warm summer day who sees a beautiful butterfly flitting from flower to flower. With eyes of wonder the child will want to see this butterfly up close, catch it and hold it in their hands.

Happiness - A State of Mind

As the child moves towards the flower where the butterfly is resting they will reach out to catch it in their hand, with their arms out stretched,  and just within reach, the butterfly moves to another flower. Undeterred the child follows the butterfly to the next flower, and then the next, but the butterfly always stays just out of reach.

“Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action.”–Benjamin Disraeli

Even as adults, happiness can seem just like that butterfly for the child, always just out of reach. It can become almost an obsession and the words “if only…” can become an increasingly large part of our thoughts and vocabulary.
– If only I had more money I would be happy.
– If only I was in a great relationship I would be happy.
– If only I could have a different job……….and the list goes on.
Sometimes even if we achieve one of our “if only “desires, the happiness we seek will, in fact, still be just out of our reach.

Happiness – INNER CONTENTMENT:

The truth is this:
“The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence”  becomes your focus and perception. If this becomes your focus, you will find that dissatisfaction and unhappiness will increasingly keep growing in your life and experience.

Happiness-A State of Mind
If there is a form of unhappiness within, you will not be completely satisfied by external events or circumstances.  In order to find happiness in life, you must first be at peace with your internal self. There will be external events and circumstances which can bring you happiness in the moment, but they often will not have an lasting effect on your inner self.

Life experiences brings both a mixture of good and bad circumstances to everyone.  If you choose to rely on life’s experiences for your source of happiness this would mean living life on a constant emotional roller coaster ride.

Spend some time in quiet reflection.  Find out if you are neglecting one of the four important parts of “who you are”and experiencing a sense of emptiness within?

When you learn to discover, embrace and accept your uniqueness and purpose, the more you will begin to experience the butterfly of happiness alighting your shoulder.

Happiness comes from within:  ”Be still and know!”  Reflect and Discover!

“Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product.”–Eleanor Roosevelt

Strive to keep the right state of mind so that you can release your happiness!

Replace error with Truth, anger with Peace, hate with Love, sadness with Joy, and despair with Hope.

“Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be.”–Abraham Lincoln

Happiness - A State of Mind

“There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will.”–Epictetus

The real truth about Happiness is that you can have it.  You don’t have to wait.  You don’t have to hesitate.  Create your own happiness with pleasurable thoughts, a decisive positive attitude, determination and inner action.
Believe you are Happy.
Receive Happy Thoughts.
Create your own Happiness.

Even in dark times, you can create a Happy mindset.  Don’t Worry!  Be Happy!
