What is Mediocrity?

Mediocrity Definition is this: “The state or quality of being mediocre.”

Mediocrity has been defined as a region bounded on the north side of Compromise; or on the south side of Indecision, surrounded on the east side by Thinking in the Past, as well as, being located on the west by a direct “Lack of Vision.”

“Most of our pocket wisdom is conceived for the use of mediocre people, to discourage them from ambitious attempts, and generally console them in their mediocrity.”–Robert Louis Stevenson

“All good is hard. All evil is easy. Dying, losing, cheating, and mediocrity is easy. Stay away from easy.”–Scott Alexander

Every prize has it’s own price!  Nothing is free.  There is work to be done.

True success avoids extremes!  It is a journey.  It is a gradual process.  It abides in a realm of gradual process in which balanced living is achieved. Through balanced living you will find happiness and success.

Our Creator intended for you and me alike to lead happy and successful lives by applying the natural laws established by him to keep us in tune with the universe.  He did not intend for us to be Mediocre.

Mediocrity has no place in business or in life.

Here are some principles to follow after to achieve Success in Life, not Mediocrity!

a.  A Name is better than Silver and Gold.
b.  Always strive to deliver more than promised
c.  Honesty is always the “best” policy.
d.  The early bird catches the worm.  He also has the capacity to put in a half day’s work before the rest of the world gets up.
e.  Be ever Learning.  Leaders are Readers.
f.  Always Strive for Excellence.  Stay away from Perfection!  Perfectionism leads to poverty.
g.  Without Faith, no goal or plan will ever become a reality.
h.  Keeping your goals in front of you each day followed by decisive action will bring them to pass.

Accepting and following after the above principles will take you another step closer to a life of happiness and prosperity; and away from a life of Mediocrity!

What is  Mediocrity?  Neither very good nor very bad, just ordinary or average.

“Great artists are people who find the way to be themselves in their art. Any sort of pretension induces mediocrity in art and life alike.”–Margot Fonteyn

“We gain nothing by being with such as ourselves. We encourage one another in mediocrity. I am always longing to be with men more excellent than myself.”–Charles Lamb
