Network Marketing “Myths” to Consider!

There are literally thousands of people who go online to make money,  but most of them will fail miserably because they either truly believe one of the Network Marketing “Myths” or all of them.

Here are Six Network Marketing Myths to be Considered or Not:


Myth #1: Network Marketing is EASY!

This amazingly enough is probably one of the biggest myths of all!  Reason being, is that Network Marketing can indeed be hard, take time and effort,  not to mention money.  Anyone who suggests otherwise is probably trying to sell you a bunch of horse hockey.

It’s true that Network Marketing is comparatively easier than any brick and mortar business, because’s usually there’s no inventory to carry, no shipping of goods no sales staff and virtually no overhead, but a lot of work is still necessary.

Myth #2: ANYBODY Can Make Money Online!

Not so, this is simply not true. Unless someone is willing to remove their tail end or hind side from their recliner and find, download, and read everything they can about Network Marketing and then put a action plan in motion, it’s guaranteed that they will never make a dime on the internet period.  ”DO NOTHING, MAKE NOTHING!”

Myth #3: It’s Possible to “GET RICH QUICK” On the Net!

This is the trap that a lot of newbie internet marketers falls into including myself when I first started.
Why?   Because scammers make it sound so easy and let me tell you, chasing “get rich quick schemes” or “shiny object syndrome is a WASTE OF TIME, Money and Energy. It just won’t happen overnight.  Therefore, you need to do some research and find out what people really want and need;  then give it to them.

Myth #4: It’s FREE to Do Business Online

This happens to be one of my favorite myths because I believed it too during my first year of Network Marketing, and also had to find out the hard and costly way that this was most definitely a falsity, or better yet, a lie.

It is true that Network Marketing business start up cost and maintenance cost is pretty low. Once you have your domain set up, you only pay for internet connection, advertising and ongoing education. You can’t expect to make money selling free stuff and ask others to do the same. Realize this Folks! It will cost you money or time, sometimes both to
make money.

Myth #5: It’s TOO LATE to Start a Network Marketing Business!

Most internet marketers would love to hear people say “It’s too late now, there’s way too much competition, maybe I should just pack my bags and go home, the internet is too complicated, etc…”.
You know why? The less people they have to compete with, the better they feel are their chance for making more money.

The fact is:

It is never ever too late to start anything and that includes a Network Marketing Business. I firmly believe that the internet is not going anywhere and you should too. Each year there are stats which will show you the number of people shopping online is at a constant increase.  More and more people are doing all of the shopping online and looking for ways to start a business.

Myth #6: The BIG Money Talk is JUST MORE HYPE!

As I’ve mentioned before, “it takes money to make money?”  Well it’s true, although you will be hard pressed to find experienced Network Marketers who are willing  to tell you just how much they spend on promoting and advertising. Sometimes, you have to dig a little deeper in order to separate the truth out of all of the hype you read or hear.

Truth:  It is a fact that the people that make alot of money online,  also spend alot of money on advertising, tools, resources, education and have learned how to get the job done.

The good news:  If you are willing to take the necessary actions  to make ‘big money’ happen for you – it will.   It will take time because there is a learning curve that you will have to pass through.

At the same time, if you are critical or skeptical, you can be sure that ‘big money’ can’t happen for you – and it won’t.

If you believe that you will succeed you’re right, if you believe that it won’t work, you’re right also.

To succeed in Network Marketing and not be concerned about the “myths” is to get an experienced Mentor,   apply a bit of common sense into it, find what you love to do, have a game plan, stay focused and you, my friend might find the right opportunity to make all your dreams come true.
